Chrysalis Health Solutions
Chrysalis Health Solutions is the Integrative Health Consulting
practice of Dr. Julie Johnson. Offering numerous options in lab
analysis, patients of all ages, races and gender are afforded
the opportunity to assess their level of health and make informed,
empowered healthcare choices.
Offering care to patients nationwide, Dr. Johnson is able to
ship lab kits, receive lab results and consult with patients by
phone or other means of technology. This allows her the ability
to ensure that despite physical location, each patient has the
option of consulting her for this specialized type of care.
As seen on Oprah in February of 2009, hair follicle analysis,
saliva testing and other forms of assessing levels of health are
now hitting mainstream America. Dr. Johnson has specialized in
these forms of testing for nearly the past decade, bringing years
of clinical experience, evidenced-based research and thorough
written report of findings to the table for the best possible
level of care for her patients.

Physician Bio
Dr. Johnson graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in
the year 2000 and began a multi-disciplinary practice in 2001.
In 2004 she returned to Palmer College where she created the S.P.E.A.K.
Program, a student clinic marketing program designed to provide
doctoral students an opportunity for practical community healthcare
education experiences, community members a healthcare resource
and for new patient recruitment purposes to the Palmer Clinics.
Throughout that time she continued to consult with patients that
presented with issues from the most basic request of maintaining
good health to those that were at the end of their rope seeking
a physician that would take the time to listen. Although time
no longer permits her to practice chiropractic, Dr. Johnson has
retained her position as Integrative Health Consultant and works
with patients nationwide to assist them in the process of regaining,
retaining and ultimately transforming their state of health.
Dr. Johnson has also spoken to numerous audiences about health,
wellness, marketing and business related topics including the
Iowa Chiropractic Society; Illinois Prairie State Association;
Palmer College of Chiropractic ICN; Muscatine Community College;
Scott Community College; Center for Active Seniors; Rock Island
Arsenal Credit Union Employees; Executive Women's Golf Association;
Palmer College of Chiropractic Homecoming (2000, 2001, 2007) and
the National Education Association Leadership Conference.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Johnson has been a requested
panel presenter at the 2006 Association of Chiropractic Colleges
Research & Agenda Conference (ACC RAC) and poster presenter
at the 2007 ACC RAC. Her work was cited in the Journal of Chiropractic
Education on both occasions.
She is currently a member of the Iowa Quality Center, the Iowa
Public Health Association, the Illinois Public Health Association,
the American Public Health Association, the Palmer College of
Chiropractic President's Club and the Palmer College of Chiropractic
Alumni Association.

and the Palmer College of Chiropractic Insights & PC News.
Her media relations experiences include an exclusive interview
with Sharon DeRycke of KWQC-TV6 news for a 3-part series on Alternative
Health & Wellness; appearances on the Paula Sands Live Show,
(2001, Summer & Fall of 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008),
along with numerous brief on-location interviews with local news
reporters.
She also believes that humanitarian work is critical for every
physician and has spent time in Santa Cruz, Bolivia and Hyderabad,
India treating patients. The Palmer College of Chiropractic Clinic
Abroad Program provided each of these opportunities. She plans
to return to India in the Fall of 2009 to offer care once again.
Dr. Johnson feels that it is her privilege to be able to affect
the quality of life for the patients that choose her for care
and is forever grateful to the chiropractic profession and Palmer
College of Chiropractic for creating the opportunities she now
has to serve humanity.
